Coin base launches its cryptocurrency debit card in six more countries in Europe.
Soon, the coin base Card will be available in Spain, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland and the Netherlands. The card allows users with Coin base accounts to spend cryptocurrencies in stores and online at any merchant that accepts Visa. Therefore, start-ups, banks and tech companies will try to make crypto payments and trading more accessible.
Coin base launched its own debit card in the U.K. on Thursday. In an effort to promote the use of cryptocurrencies in payments as well as investing.
Digital currency exchange coin base announced its Visa debit card is to launch in six more European countries. That was after debuting in the U.K. in April.
However, the card allows users with coin base accounts to spend crypto currencies like bitcoin in stores and online at any merchant that accepts Visa. That seems like a good offer right?
Coin base U.K. CEO Zeeshan Feroz told CNBC in an interview the goal of the card is to make payments with digital currencies as seamless as paying with cash.
